  • Applying for Housing
    You can begin the housing application process online using the Navy's Housing Early Assistance Tool (HEAT). Navy Housing has developed HEAT to assist service members and their families in obtaining housing information Navy-wide. HEAT allows service members, DoD-sponsored civilians, Coast Guard and their families to get the housing process started online at one or more Navy installations before or after they receive their Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. HEAT is available to any service member and Coast Guard at all Navy installations.

    Unaccompanied Housing (UH): The majority of permanent party barracks are government-owned/controlled and located on base. The Navy Unaccompanied Housing (UH) office, or the Housing Service Center at smaller locations, is responsible for determining eligibility, processing applications, and making assignments.
