FFSC Offers Free Monthly Webinars to Help Job Seekers Prepare for Employment

WASHINGTON – Looking for your next career move? The Navy Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) is making it easier than ever to sharpen your job-search skills with free monthly employment webinars. These webinars, designed for today’s competitive job market, offer an array of topics.
“The number of topics covered during the series means there is something for everyone. Sessions are offered in a virtual setting for flexible accommodations,” said Ebonie Powe, Family Employment Readiness Program Analyst for Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), highlighting the relevance and extent of the topics covered.
Whether preparing to transition from military service, re-entering the workforce or pursuing Federal civilian employment, participants can find webinars that will provide practical, modern career guidance to help them stand out.

With topics tailored to current hiring trends, FFSC’s employment webinars help job seekers buid confident and stay ahead of the curve throughout every step of the hiring process. “FFSC’s employment webinars will provide jobseekers with valuable skills and knowledge that will help them stay ahead of the hiring trends. This is what employers are looking for,” said Powe.
Since launching the monthly webinar series, FFSC has seen strong engagement from job seekers, military spouses and transitioning service members. More than 600 participants have benefited from the sessions since the series began earlier this year. Each webinar is interactive, easy to register and filled with guidance that participants can implement.
