To keep pace with the needs of Sailors, Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) is set to launch its 2025 Annual MWR Active Duty Survey on June 2, inviting all active duty personnel to share their feedback.

The online survey offers Sailors a quick and convenient way to share feedback, giving MWR valuable insights to guide future decisions on services and programs that support both Sailors and their families. “MWR has embarked on a very concerted effort to connect with the community we serve to ensure we deliver programs and services that meet their needs,” explains Lisa Sexauer, Navy Fleet and Family Readiness’ (FFR) MWR Director.

MWR has conducted this annual survey in previous years, most recently in 2024. According to Sexauer, the results revealed that, “Most Sailors value MWR services and do consider MWR’s availability and affordability as a factor that influences their decision to remain in the Navy.” She emphasized that the feedback has been instrumental in helping MWR advocate for resources to enhance and expand its programs. “It’s a way to create opportunities for our community to maintain a work-life balance,” she added.

This year’s survey will be open from June 2 and run through July 13, 2025. “The annual survey is one of the most crucial ways we prioritize how and where we utilize our resources,” said Sexauer. “More importantly, survey outcomes are shared with senior Navy leadership, and they are eager to hear directly from their Sailors.”
