WASHINGTON – In today’s competitive job market, a standout resume and strong interview skills are more important than ever. To support the military community, Commander, Navy Installations Command’s (CNIC) Fleet and Family Support Programs (FFSP) offer free virtual webinars each month designed to equip jobseekers with the tools they need to succeed.

From navigating the federal application process on USAJOBS.gov to utilizing the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) in job searches, there are a variety of topics available. The webinars are open to active duty service members, veterans, spouses and family members, as well as anyone aspiring to join the federal workforce.

One recent standout webinar was “Leveraging AI for Your 2026 Job Search.” The presenter, with years of experience in resume writing and a thorough understanding of the federal government landscape, guided attendees through the nuances of crafting a compelling resume, sharing invaluable tips along the way.

A moment that particularly resonated with participants was a powerful reminder: "You do not give yourself enough credit for all you've done." This statement served as a crucial wake-up call, emphasizing the importance of effectively articulating your accomplishments and experiences on a resume.

"These webinars are specifically designed to guide attendees through various areas of employment-related topics," said Ebonie Powe, a Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) Analyst with FFSP. "We encourage you to register for these courses and more at MyNavyFamily.com to take full advantage of the employment webinars each month," added Powe.
