Annual Training Requirements
Mandatory training is defined by SECNAV Instruction 12410.25 as training mandated by executive order, Federal statute, regulation, or at the direction of the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV)Total Workforce Management System (TWMS)
TWMS is the Learning Management System where DON annual mandatory training is completed for all Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) Civilian personnel until the workforce is included in the Waypoints rollout.Waypoints
Waypoints has been identified as the new Learning Management System for Appropriated Fund (APF) Civilian personnel and for Military who supervise Appropriated Fund personnel per the memo released on October 11, 2023, by the Office of the Assistant Secretary (Manpower and Reserve Affairs), Department of the Navy. TWMS will no longer be used for training. All DON Mandatory training will be completed in Waypoints from this point forward.| January | |||
